Set 20 years after the film serenity the stories follow Mal,
Kaylee, Simon, River, Jayne and new characters being Simon and Kaylee's two
children, Zoe's and Wash's child, Mal's child (but not from Inara but
Yosaffbridge), a women with a mysterious past and an ex alliance chaplain as
they run from the government and reavers who are more active than ever. Also
they have to deal with the new independence movement cause by the events of the
movie.
The first series of stories will be a mini-series showing
how they got to this point from the movie and what happened to the other
characters. The first story is when an unconscious River creates the ghosts of
Book and Wash so the characters can say goodbye.
